Wolf Blitzer spars with Trump over birther comments: ‘Donald, you’re beginning to sound a little ridiculous’

(The Cutline)-Donald Trump, de facto leader of the so-called "birther" movement, called into "The Situation Room" on Tuesday for what quickly became a testy interview with Wolf Blitzer about Trump's continued skepticism over the authenticity of President Obama's Hawaiian birth certificate.

Trump, in Las Vegas to host a fundraiser for Mitt Romney on Tuesday, took issue with Blitzer's introduction and a CNN report that ran before the interview, both of which asserted that Trump, real estate mogul and reality show star, is standing by his birther comments. Trump claimed he agreed to the "Situation Room" interview to talk about jobs, China and OPEC; Blitzer said there were no such ground rules.

"You know that's what I'm here to talk about, and I thought your introduction was highly inappropriate," Trump said. "But that's OK, because I have gotten to know you over the years."

Blitzer then presented Trump with Obama's birth announcements that ran in Hawaiian newspapers.

"Can you stop defending Obama?" Trump stammered.
More from the heated exchange via CNN's transcript:
BLITZER: Donald, you're beginning to sound a little ridiculous, I have to tell you.
TRUMP: You are, Wolf. Let me tell you something, I think you sound ridiculous, and if you'd ask me a question and let me answer it.
BLITZER: Here's the question, did the conspiracy start in 1961 where the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and the Advertiser contemporaneously published announcements that he was born in Hawaii?
TRUMP: Many people put those announcements in because they wanted to get the benefit because of getting so-called born in this country. Many people did it. It was something done by many people even though they weren't born in the country. You know and I know it.

*WOW! NOT SUPRISED AT ALL!

Donald Trump's rhetoric is so ridiculousssssssssssssssss, that it deserves no media attention.  However, since it's out there, we are still talking about it.

This so-called birther movement is wasted media attention, and wasted energy.  Trump should realize if that's all he has to talk about, he's a non-factor in the political world.  His flare for hotmess is very apparent and many of his fans should boycott him and his shows because of it.

For two grown ass men to keep something so ridiculous going and going, no wonder the voters are disconnected!  Romney and Trump should know better.  Didn't anyone in their so-called elitest families or friends teach them how to fight in politics.  You would think with all their money and high society friends, they would know how to act.

Apparently they don't.

We all know that President Obama is a US citizen and no one, not trump, romney or anyone else can take that from him.  If they haven't figured that out by now after four years in office, they can't be that intelligent.

We here at Diva's Nation give Donald Trump, Mitt Romney and all the other's who has a question about the President's birth certificate a big fat "F!" This should have no place in politics, especially when it's just ridiculous!

Both men need to focus on doing good for America instead of bringing it down.

America look at Romney and look at him closely. Is this the kind of person you want running this country? Someone who questions your US citizenship because one parent may be from another country, someone who doesn't care anything about Americans because he's so wrapped up in the glitz of politics.*

HOTMESS-HOTMESS!

Think about it.

All in all, whoever reads this blog, send us your comments about this story because we are so tired of hearing about this damn birther mess!  Email us@ mika99_2000@yahoo.com so we can hear what you have to say.

By the way if anyone wants to start a movement for President Obama; dubbed "The President Is Real" hit me up at the email address above.

Romney lands in Vegas with Trump over his shoulder

The Ticket—Donald Trump wasn't here to greet Mitt Romney as he touched down in Nevada ahead of a major fundraiser here tonight. But he might as well have been.

As Romney exited his campaign plane at McCarran Airport, the presumptive Republican nominee was cast against the backdrop of Trump's Boeing 757, which was parked a few hundred feet down the tarmac.

*HOT ASS MESS*
Donald Trump

*HOTASS MESS Who is Disconnected from Americans*
Mitt Romn...

It was unclear if the shot was planned. Romney aides seemed caught off guard by the framing of the photo opportunity. Just before the candidate left the plane, a staffer tried to usher reporters closer to Romney's aircraft, which would have blocked at least part of the Trump shot.

As he walked to his waiting SUV, Romney gave no indication he was aware of Trump's jumbo jet parked nearby. He briefly joked with Eric Fehrnstrom, one of his senior advisers, before jumping into his vehicle.

Romney is set to appear with Trump and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich at a $2 million fundraiser at Trump's hotel off the Las Vegas strip Tuesday night. President Barack Obama's re-election campaign has tried to link Romney with Trump's suggestions that Obama was not born in the United States. Asked Monday if he worries about being associated with Trump, Romney shrugged off the question, saying he doesn't agree with all of his supporters' views.

*What a hot ass mess, that these two are in the same place!

For Mitt Romney to be associated with Donald Trump at this stage in the game is not a good look for his campaign.  Donald Trump stands for "Hot ass mess" and then some.

Trump continues to spin this wild story of President Obama not being a US citizen which is ridiculous and he knows it.  If that's all he has to harp on, then he's a "non-factor" in our political book.

The truth is Donald Trump, while he may have millions, he's not relevent when it comes to anything, especially politics.  He's not sincerely in this years Presidential election  to inspire and make things better, he's in it to stir up sh*t!

For all of you who believe in what Trump or Romney says, you're badly misinformed.  If you want to really know the truth and truly be in the political game, don't follow down behind these fools.

Oh and skip the boring republican fundraiser. I can assure you, you will probably fall asleep.

Pastor who gave anti-gay sermon draws hundreds of protesters in North Carolina

(The Lookout) The North Carolina pastor who gave a disturbing, anti-gay sermon—in which he suggested rounding up all "queers and homosexuals" and quarantining them inside an electric fence—drew hundreds of protesters on Sunday.

Between 1,500 and 2,000 "peaceful" protesters demonstrated outside the Catawba County Justice Center, 12 miles from the Maiden, N.C., church where Rev. Charles Worley delivered his homophobic rant on Mother's Day.

"I figured a way to get rid of all the lesbians and queers," Worley told churchgoers on May 13. "Build a great big large fence—50 or 100 miles long—put all the lesbians in there. Fly over and drop some food. Do the same thing with the queers and the homosexuals and have that fence electrified so they can't get out. And you know what, in a few years, they'll die out. Do you know why? They can't reproduce!"

"It makes me pukin' sick to think about," Worley added. "Can you imagine kissing some man?"

Lt. Daryl McCarty of the Catawba County Sheriff's office told CNN that vandals tried to set fire to Worley's Providence Road Baptist Church on Friday "in retaliation about his remarks against homosexuals and lesbians from the pulpit." Police are investigating the incident.

According to the sheriff's office, two protesters on Sunday were cited for noise violations, but no arrests were made.

*Ain't this some craziness!

This guy is actually talking about killing folks due their sexual orientation.  Has he gone mad or just want attention from the media at any cost!

Poor baby, he can't get attention from his flock by way of just sticking to the book, so he has to use homosexuals as a selling point.

He's so ridiculous!

Better yet, he sounds stupid and down right evil.

I'm sure many people may not believe in homosexuality, but most folks aren't talking about killing someone because they are gay.

I mean; this guy is contradicting himself. How can you be a pastor and preach from the book, but then, want to turn around and kill someone?

Just think of the what some folks might think about doing to his ass.  They may want to insert a bomb up is ass, then hammer his naked ass to the cross and watch his ass explode to smitherines.

Hey, I'm just saying!  It's the same thing.  I'm sure he wouldn't like that.

Right?*

High school yearbooks that labeled special needs students ‘mentally retarded’ recalled

(The Lookout) A Texas high school has recalled copies of its yearbook after special needs students were described as "mentally retarded" within its pages, angering teachers, students and their parents.

Mesquite High School's yearbooks were initially distributed on Friday, but were recalled by school officials within hours.

"They told the entire class that they have a slight mistake that needs to be fixed," a senior at the school told Fox's KDFW affiliate. An introduction to the "Special Education" section read, "Some of the disabilities the students in the Special Education Program have are being blind, deaf or non-verbal" and described two students as "both blind and deaf, as well as mentally retarded."

"There was an oversight in the editing approval process," Laura Jobe, communications director for the Mesquite school district, told the Dallas morning news. "Those who work inside the special education department know these requirements."

The yearbooks will be redistributed this week, school officials said, without the offending pages.

"We earnestly regret the term 'mentally retarded' was included and offer our apologies to our students and their families," Jobe said. "The use of the words 'mentally retarded' is something we would never condone."

Mesquite High's graduation is scheduled for May 26.

*Ha! Ha! Ha!

I'm not surprised that this kind of thing has happened.  To put labels on mentally challenged students is RIDICULOUS! You would think these kids would care a little about what they do, especially in high school.

NOT!

To think they could do this, and get away with it tells us that the supervision in that department was basically non-existent.  Whoever the teacher is over the year book staff at this high school should be reprimanded.  I'm pretty sure if it was their kid who was being labeled mentally retarded, they wouldn't like it.

Note to Mesquite High School: *Please watch your staff more closely and stop letting things like this happen.  I'm sure you would be upset if your school was ridiculed out in the press for something that could of been prevented.*

Black pastors bash NAACP for endorsing gay marriage

(The Daily Caller) The Coalition of African American Pastors announced Tuesday that it does not agree with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People’s decision to endorse the legalization of same-sex marriage.

CAAP launched a petition last week to oppose broadening the legal definition of marriage.

The coalition includes leaders of black churches and veteran civil rights leaders who marched with Martin Luther King Jr.

The NAACP voted to endorse same-sex marriage Saturday, and NAACP President Benjamin Jealous publically endorsed gay marriage Monday.

“The NAACP has abandoned its historic responsibility to speak for and safeguard the civil rights movement,” CAAP founder and President William Owens said Tuesday. “We who marched with Rev. King did not march one inch or one mile to promote same-sex marriage.”

Jealous called gay marriage a civil right, and said he believes “it is the responsibility, the history of the NAACP to speak up on the civil rights issues of our times.”

CAAP says it believes gay Americans should have equal civil rights, but that it does not believe there should be a right to legally marry someone of the same sex.

On behalf of the coalition, Owens said, “We call on all Americans to respect the legitimate civil rights of gay people to be free from violence, harassment, to vote, to hold jobs.”

Owens drew from King’s “Letter From Birmingham Jail” to explain what he believes is the difference between a just and unjust law.

According to Owens, a just law is a man-made code that squares with the law of God, and an unjust law is a code that is out of harmony with moral law.

Owens also drew from St. Thomas Aquinas and said, “An unjust law is a human law that is not rooted in eternal law and natural law.”

“Same-sex marriage is an attempt to do the opposite of what Rev. King did,” Owens said.  “It’s an attempt by men to use political power to declare that an act contrary to God’s law and to the natural law is a civil right.”

CAAP held a press conference last week in Memphis, where King died, to call on President Barack Obama to reconsider his support for gay marriage.

“Our only weapons in this fight are the weapons of Rev. King: truth and love and courage,” Owens said.

*WOW! Are these people nuts are what!

It seems like just because the President said he supposts marriage between same-sex couples everyone and their momma is jumping on the banwagon!

Come on give me a break!

We here at Diva's Nation believe that some people have a legitimate opinion and some people are just riding the wave and wanting media attention.  President Obama isn't America's Pastor.  He is the President of the United States.

People need to realize that first and foremost.

As we know change comes in many forms forums.  Most people are oppose to change because they want things to stay the same.  It's important that this country does change to some degree.  It keeps things fresh, progressing and people on their feet.  When change doesn't happen, then ofcourse, we have events like Sept 11th to take place.

Which was very tragic to the whole world.

At the end of the day, just because CAAP is mad about the President supporting a civil union between same sex couples doesn't mean squat!  Let's talk about the real issues that many Americans face.  Once we can do that, then maybe things will be better for all.*

Newest Michigan museum showcases racist artifacts

BIG RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) — The objects displayed in Michigan's newest museum range from the ordinary, such as simple ashtrays and fishing lures, to the grotesque — a full-size replica of a lynching tree. But all are united by a common theme: They are steeped in racism so intense that it makes visitors cringe.

In a March 14, 2012 photo, David Pilgrim, the founder and curator who started building the Jim Crow Museum of Racist Memorabilia, adjusts a display at the museum in Big Rapids, Mich. The museum says it has amassed the nation’s largest public collection of artifacts spanning the segregation era, from Reconstruction until the civil rights movement, and beyond. (AP Photo/Carlos Osorio)

That's the idea behind the Jim Crow Museum of Racist Memorabilia, which says it has amassed the nation's largest public collection of artifacts spanning the segregation era, from Reconstruction until the civil rights movement, and beyond.

The museum in a gleaming new exhibit hall at Ferris State University "is all about teaching, not a shrine to racism," said David Pilgrim, the founder and curator who started building the collection as a teenager.

Pilgrim, who is black, makes no apologies for the provocative exhibits. The goal of the $1.3 million gallery, he explained, is "to get people to think deeply."

The displays are startling. The n-word is prevalent throughout, and many items portray black men as lazy, violent or inarticulate. Black women are shown as kerchief-wearing mammies, sexually charged Jezebels or other stereotypes.

The shocking images exact an emotional cost.

"There's parts in that room — the main room — where it's quite gut-wrenching," said Nancy Mettlach, a student conduct specialist at Ferris. "And the thought that was going through my mind was: 'How can one human being do this to another human being?'"

Pilgrim, a former sociology professor at Ferris State, started the collection in the 1970s in Alabama. Along the way, he "spent more time in antique and flea markets than the people who work there." His quest for more examples was boundless.

"At some point, the collecting becomes the thing," he said. "It became the way I relaxed." He spent most of his free time and money on acquisitions.

In 1996, Pilgrim donated his 2,000-piece collection to the school after concluding that it "needed a real home."

The collection spent the next 15 years housed in a single room and could be seen only by appointment. Thanks to the financial support of the university and donors — notably from the charitable arm of Detroit utility DTE Energy —
Pilgrim's collection now has a permanent home, which will have a grand opening ceremony April 26. Admission is free.

Today, the school has 9,000 pieces that depict African-Americans in stereotypical ways and, in some cases, glorify violence against them.

Not all of the museum's holdings are on display, but the 3,500-square-foot space in the lower level of the university library is packed with items that demonstrate how racist ideas and anti-black images dominated American culture for decades.

Visitors can forget about touring the exhibits and retiring untroubled to a cafe or gift shop. Some leave angry or offended. Most feel a kind of "reflective sadness," Pilgrim said.

But that's not enough. If the museum "stayed at that, then we failed," he said. "The only real value of the museum has ever been to really engage people in a dialogue."

So Pilgrim designed the tour to give visitors a last stop in a "room of dialogue," where they're encouraged to discuss what they've seen and how the objects might be used to promote tolerance and social justice.

Some of the objects in the museum are a century old. Others were made as recently as this year.

Ferris State sophomore Nehemiah Israel was particularly troubled by a series of items about President Barack Obama.

One T-shirt on display reads: "Any White Guy 2012." Another shirt that says
"Obama '08" is accompanied by a cartoon monkey holding a banana. A mouse pad shows robe-wearing Ku Klux Klan members chasing an Obama caricature above the words, "Run Obama Run."

"I was like, 'Wow. People still think this. This is crazy,'" Israel said.

One of the first rooms in the museum features a full-size replica of a tree with a lynching noose hanging from it. Several feet away, a television screen shows a video of racist images through the years.

The location of the museum — in the shadow of university founder Woodbridge Ferris' statue — also catches some by surprise. The mostly white college town of Big Rapids is 150 miles from Detroit, the state's largest predominantly black city.

Ferris, who later served as Michigan governor and as a U.S. senator, founded the school more than a century ago. He once said Americans should work to provide an "education for all children, all men and all women."

Pilgrim, who is also Ferris State's vice president for diversity and inclusion, initially considered giving his collection to a historically black college, but he wanted to be "near it enough to make sure it was taken care of."

Most of the objects "are anti-black caricatures, everyday objects or they are segregationist memorabilia," he said. Because they represent a cruel, inflammatory past, they "should either be in a garbage can or a museum."

If You Go...

*WOW!

It's things like this that can send people back in time in the worse way.

A collection like this can teach us all sorts of things, but also get people so upset that hate insues and people will do something bad.

The biggest thing that really bothers me about this collection is that people may get upset destroy history because they are offended and sadden by black history.  Even if it's history that depicts blacks in the most disgraceful way.

What we have to remember is that this is now and not the past. There's nothing we can do to change the past.  All we can do is learn from it and do better.

This collection may anger some, but let's think of how this can help instead of looking at how it can hurt us in the "now."

I guess there's nothing wrong with learning history, but is it good to learn it in this forum?

You be the judge.

94-year-old Billionaire Marries for Fifth Time. To Be Old, Rich and in Love

If you had almost five billion dollars, what would you do? For Karl Wlaschek, the answer is marry a lot.
The billionaire with wife number five. (Foto © AP)

Forbes is reporting via Vienna news that Austrian retail tycoon Wlaschek will wed for the fifth time at the ripe old age of 94. His bride-to-be, girlfriend Friederike 'Ricki' Schenk, won't reveal her age, but is likely a good three decades behind her groom. That means Wlaschek, a self-made mogul, has defied stereotypes by proposing to a woman who's closer to his age than the average Hef-two-twin sisters ratio.

Still, the billionaire with the prolific marriage history is a plot-line we've seen over and over again. Revlon honcho Ron Perelman wed number five two years ago, shortly after the ink dried on his brutal divorce from actress Ellen Barkin. Larry Ellison and T. Boone Pickens are up to number four and the night is still young.

Five-timer Wlaschek earned his $4.7 billion dollar bank account by founding Billa, a European supermarket chain. He's since become one of the biggest real estate magnates in Austria. He announced his engagement at one of his own properties, a sprawling five star hotel in his native country, where he once played as a struggling young jazz pianist, back when the musical genre was in its infancy.

The groom met his future bride at a Vienna event a few years back, and soon realized somewhat touchingly or morbidly depending on your vantage point, that they'd both lost their last spouses on the very same day.

The couple's wedding is set to take place in a few days, according to Forbes (although some German gossip pages are saying the big day already happened this past Saturday).

The self-made Wlaschek already has four kids but still wants "another five or six children, at the very least." His bride laughed that comment off, saying "I am not so young any more."

*WoW! Can you say "You Go Boy!*

That's something else!

However, we all know, that chick is marrying fat pockets Karl for his money and not his "you know what."  It's sort of sad in a sense that she's going to use him up and then either divorce his ass or just wait for him to die.

Many people (women in general) may see marriage as a bit normal because they can rationalize why she's marrying him.  To men it's a bit different because she's seen as hoe, slut, gold-digger and many other things.  (As we all know some men see women as a object that's useful for one thing). Karl may or may not be that way.

However you look at it, they are getting married and whoever may have something to say should shut keep their traps shut because it is what it is.*

Congrat's to the lovely couple!

SANTORUM OUT OF PRESIDENTIAL RACE!

Sentor Rick Santorum will be bowing out of the Presidential race due to so-called family conflicts. While that may be true to some degree we here aren't;

 BUYING IT!

Apparently it comes down to not having enough delegates to clench the nomination. We all know that the delegate count is important when securing the nomination of any party.

For this race within the republican the party it's extremely important!

As for what's ahead for Senator Santorum, we suspect he will dive into helping "sickromney" to try to win the whitehouse.  SickRomney will need all the help he will get going up against President Obama.

Sit back people and take your seats because the real battle for the whitehouse is about to begin with nut-case SickRomney and our true President; Barack Obama.

'Success looks like this': Janet Jackson unveils dramatically slimmed down figure in new ad

She described herself as an emotional eater with serious body issues.
But Janet Jackson is seen here looking confident and happy after a weight loss programme helped her shed the pounds.

The 45-year-old singer, who has battled the bulge over the years, is in incredible shape in the promo snap from her Nutrisystem ad. Janet, the sister of the late Michael Jackson, shows off her figure in a tight orange dress and sky high Louboutin heels.

She is yet to reveal how much weight she has lost - but a sneak peek of the ad has been released.

Newly-slim Jackson proclaims in the commercial: 'This is what success looks like,' before going on to describe the Nutrisystem plan, based on eating low glycemic foods which leave you feeling full for longer.

While she was once revered for her incredibly toned abs, Janet's weight has yo-yoed over the years.

Back in 2006 she tipped the scales at 180lbs before slimming down.

However following the death of her brother Michael in 2009, Janet started to pile on the pounds.

What a difference a year makes: A chunky Janet tipped the scales at 180lbs, seen left in January 2006 and right, slimmed down by December the same year

She is the latest celeb to use Nutrisystem to fight the flab, with Marie Osmond having previously shed 50lbs on the programme.

Janet documented her weight struggle in her 2011 tell-all book True You: A Journey to Finding and Loving Yourself in which she described herself as an 'emotional eater' with serious body image issues.

Janet's ad will premiere in full next Monday.

*WOW! Janet Jackson looks great! We hear at Diva's Nation are fans of hers. We have seen her through her ups and downs with her weight. That in itself says she's a real person.

All in all, Janet will always be a winner no matter what she looks like.

Looks good girl!!*
