Wolf Blitzer spars with Trump over birther comments: ‘Donald, you’re beginning to sound a little ridiculous’

(The Cutline)-Donald Trump, de facto leader of the so-called "birther" movement, called into "The Situation Room" on Tuesday for what quickly became a testy interview with Wolf Blitzer about Trump's continued skepticism over the authenticity of President Obama's Hawaiian birth certificate.

Trump, in Las Vegas to host a fundraiser for Mitt Romney on Tuesday, took issue with Blitzer's introduction and a CNN report that ran before the interview, both of which asserted that Trump, real estate mogul and reality show star, is standing by his birther comments. Trump claimed he agreed to the "Situation Room" interview to talk about jobs, China and OPEC; Blitzer said there were no such ground rules.

"You know that's what I'm here to talk about, and I thought your introduction was highly inappropriate," Trump said. "But that's OK, because I have gotten to know you over the years."

Blitzer then presented Trump with Obama's birth announcements that ran in Hawaiian newspapers.

"Can you stop defending Obama?" Trump stammered.
More from the heated exchange via CNN's transcript:
BLITZER: Donald, you're beginning to sound a little ridiculous, I have to tell you.
TRUMP: You are, Wolf. Let me tell you something, I think you sound ridiculous, and if you'd ask me a question and let me answer it.
BLITZER: Here's the question, did the conspiracy start in 1961 where the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and the Advertiser contemporaneously published announcements that he was born in Hawaii?
TRUMP: Many people put those announcements in because they wanted to get the benefit because of getting so-called born in this country. Many people did it. It was something done by many people even though they weren't born in the country. You know and I know it.

*WOW! NOT SUPRISED AT ALL!

Donald Trump's rhetoric is so ridiculousssssssssssssssss, that it deserves no media attention.  However, since it's out there, we are still talking about it.

This so-called birther movement is wasted media attention, and wasted energy.  Trump should realize if that's all he has to talk about, he's a non-factor in the political world.  His flare for hotmess is very apparent and many of his fans should boycott him and his shows because of it.

For two grown ass men to keep something so ridiculous going and going, no wonder the voters are disconnected!  Romney and Trump should know better.  Didn't anyone in their so-called elitest families or friends teach them how to fight in politics.  You would think with all their money and high society friends, they would know how to act.

Apparently they don't.

We all know that President Obama is a US citizen and no one, not trump, romney or anyone else can take that from him.  If they haven't figured that out by now after four years in office, they can't be that intelligent.

We here at Diva's Nation give Donald Trump, Mitt Romney and all the other's who has a question about the President's birth certificate a big fat "F!" This should have no place in politics, especially when it's just ridiculous!

Both men need to focus on doing good for America instead of bringing it down.

America look at Romney and look at him closely. Is this the kind of person you want running this country? Someone who questions your US citizenship because one parent may be from another country, someone who doesn't care anything about Americans because he's so wrapped up in the glitz of politics.*

HOTMESS-HOTMESS!

Think about it.

All in all, whoever reads this blog, send us your comments about this story because we are so tired of hearing about this damn birther mess!  Email us@ mika99_2000@yahoo.com so we can hear what you have to say.
