James Gandolfini, 'The Sopranos' Star, Dead at 51

(Yahoo TV-Dave Nemetz)-Terrible news for TV fans: James Gandolfini, who played mobster Tony Soprano on HBO's seminal drama "The Sopranos," died suddenly today at the age of 51.

Gandolfini was traveling in Italy on vacation when he fell ill; conflicting reports have him suffering either a heart attack or a stroke. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Lin, and an eight-month-old daughter, Liliana, as well as a son, Michael, from a previous marriage.

HBO confirmed his death in a statement: "We're all in shock and feeling immeasurable sadness at the loss of a beloved member of our family. He was a special man, a great talent, but more importantly a gentle and loving person who treated everyone no matter their title or position with equal respect. He touched so many of us over the years with his humor, his warmth, and his humility. Our hearts go out to his wife and children during this terrible time. He will be deeply missed by all of us."

Gandolfini won three Emmys, three SAG Awards, and one Golden Globe for his performance as Tony Soprano on the acclaimed HBO drama — a complex, sometimes villainous role that launched the current wave of TV antiheroes. "The Sopranos" remains HBO's highest-rated series ever, with 13.4 million viewers tuning in for the Season 4 premiere in 2002.

"Sopranos" creator David Chase lauded Gandolfini in a statement: "He was a genius. Anyone who saw him even in the smallest of his performances knows that. He is one of the greatest actors of this or any time. A great deal of that genius resided in those sad eyes. I remember telling him many times, 'You don't get it. You're like Mozart.' There would be silence at the other end of the phone. For Deborah and Michael and Liliana, this is crushing. And it's bad for the rest of the world. He wasn't easy sometimes. But he was my partner; he was my brother in ways I can't explain and never will be able to explain."

Co-star Tony Sirico, who was Tony's right-hand man Paulie Walnuts on "The Sopranos," released a statement as well: "He was one of my best friends in life. He helped me with my career and I’m going to miss him. He’s part of my family.” Steven Schirripa, who played Tony's brother-in-law Bobby Bacala, added this: "Jimmy was a dear friend and like a brother to me. He was a great actor and a great father. I will miss him terribly. I am very sad."

In addition to "The Sopranos," Gandolfini appeared in dozens of movies, including memorable supporting turns in "True Romance," "Get Shorty," and last year's "Zero Dark Thirty." He was also an accomplished stage actor, joining Alec Baldwin and Jessica Lange in the 1992 revival of "A Streetcar Named Desire" and scoring a Tony nomination in 2009 for his role in the long-running play "God of Carnage."

Born in Westwood, New Jersey in 1961, Gandolfini was raised in a devoutly Roman Catholic home by two Italian-speaking parents. He appeared in plays in high school and later attended Rutgers University, working as a bouncer at an on-campus bar. While living in New York City, he tagged along with a friend to an acting class and felt so exhilarated, he knew he had to come back.

Gandolfini built an admirable film career in the '90s but never approached stardom until Chase cast him as Tony Soprano. And even then, he didn't think he deserved it. "I thought that they would hire some good-looking guy,” he told Vanity Fair last year. “Not George Clooney, but some Italian George Clooney, and that would be that.” In fact, HBO did approach "GoodFellas" star Ray Liotta about the role, but Liotta wanted to concentrate on movies. So Gandolfini got the nod.

His relationship with HBO continued after "The Sopranos" ended in 2007. He produced a pair of probing documentaries for the network, "Alive Day: Home From Iraq" and "Wartorn: 1865-2010," about the challenges soldiers face after returning home from war. And Gandolfini was slated to star as a defense attorney in HBO's upcoming miniseries "Criminal Justice"; the network ordered a seven-episode limited run last month.

Serena Williams speaks on Steubenville rape victim, questions her decisions

(Yahoo-Busted Racquet)-If you're a famous athlete, one of the key things you should learn is just to avoid talking on any hot button topic. Serena Williams has been a professional since 1995, so she's been around the block with the media a time or two.

Yet she still has those moments that make you just shake your head.

One happened in her recent Rolling Stone interview. Williams talked with Stephen Rodrick and let a few things fly, with the most puzzling being her take on the Steubenville rape case.

If you aren't familiar, a 16-year-old girl who was passed out from alcohol was raped by two high school football players on August 12, 2012. The incapacitated victim was photographed and assaulted in a horrible situation that made national news for months. The football players were both found guilty of rape in March and for some reason Williams started talking about this story during her interview.

Here is the excerpt from the article, courtesy of Deadspin:

We watch the news for a while, and the infamous Steubenville rape case flashes on the TV—two high school football players raped a 16-year-old, while other students watched and texted details of the crime. Serena just shakes her head. "Do you think it was fair, what they got? They did something stupid, but I don't know. I'm not blaming the girl, but if you're a 16-year-old and you're drunk like that, your parents should teach you—don't take drinks from other people. She's 16, why was she that drunk where she doesn't remember? It could have been much worse. She's lucky. Obviously I don't know, maybe she wasn't a virgin, but she shouldn't have put herself in that position, unless they slipped her something, then that's different."

Seriously what is the point of Serena bringing this up, even if she really believes it? Williams didn't go out of her way to blame the 16-year-old victim, but to question her judgment even a little in a case like this is inexcusable.

The whole quote makes you scratch your head, but the most puzzling part is that Serena is questioning a woman's judgment after she was sexually assaulted by two men. No matter if you think getting so drunk you pass out is a bad move or not, to not be 100 percent sympathetic to this poor young girl is completely senseless.

You have to think that Williams will definitely come out and apologize for this comment, as she should. CNN had to take its medicine after it was criticized for being sympathetic toward the two men after the verdict was announced and Serena will have to do the same.

Still, it just seems like a weird thing to bring up in a national interview in front of a reporter who's writing about everything you have to say.

Sometimes it's best just to say nothing at all.

Look; at the end of the day, Serena can comment on whatever the hell she wants to no matter what the story is at the moment.  If it seemed as if she came down on that broad who got drunk on her own free will, then so be it!  

If anything,  parents should be truly talking to their kids and not letting them roll out across state lines and shit to go to a damn party and get drunk!

This week is about fostering relationships in the greek community, and that's not fucking possible if you're going to stand around and talk to each other and not our matchup. Newsflash you stupid cocks: FRATS DON'T LIKE BORING SORORITIES. Facebook fine-tunes Messages filters, tests $1 option

The social network revamps its messaging service and tests a LinkedIn-like paid option for message delivery.

Facebook has revamped its Messages service to allow more contact between those who have Facebook accounts and those who don't, and for a $1 fee, those who aren't even your friends.

The social network begins rolling out the updated messaging service, Facebook's version of e-mail, later today. The changes -- which go nicely with the no-Facebook-account-necessary feature of the network's latest Android messaging app -- include newly named filters for your inbox. These determine if a message goes into your inbox, the folder you usually see when you open up messages, or into the abyss, also known as the "Other" folder. The network is also testing a paid message feature.

 

Facebook's had some issues with its e-mail setup in the past. It was meant to be a sort of spam filter as a part of Facebook's e-mail system. Though most folks probably don't use it, anyone can send you a Facebook e-mail, even if they don't have a Facebook account. But when Facebook first rolled out the services, users were complaining that e-mails weren't making it to the right folders or weren't arriving at all. (Not to mention, Facebook synced its e-mail addresses with people's phones automatically, changing e-mails in people's address book and causing mayhem).

Facebook said its newly renamed filters will address this issue. Instead of setting your inbox to receiving messages from Friends, Friends of Friends, or Everyone, the new setting is called "Basic Filtering." Your in-network settings won't change, but taking away the specific restrictions -- only messages from Friends or from Friends of Friends -- allows Facebook to deliver you messages from people who aren't on Facebook without triggering the spam folder. Similarly, the Friends setting will change to "Strict Filtering." You'll only get messages from your Facebook friends, and Facebook's algorithm -- which pays attention to who is in your network as well as which messages you choose to move to your inbox -- will help determine if the person sending you an e-mail from outside Facebook really is your friend.

What a dollar gets you

For those instances when people want to connect but have no connections at all, Facebook is testing a way that lets them pay $1 to send messages directly into your inbox rather than your Other folder. Facebook said "several commentators and researchers" think a fee will keep unwanted messages out and encourage relevant messages:

For example, if you want to send a message to someone you head speak at an event but are not friends with, or you want to message someone about a job opportunity, you can use this feature to reach their Inbox. For the receiver, this test allows them to hear from people who have an important message to send them.

This is similar to the way LinkedIn does its InMail service, with one caveat. If you don't any connections to person on LinkedIn, you have to pay for them to get a message. Anyone can send you a Facebook message for free, but if you don't have connections, the message will most likely end up as spam in your Other folder, not your main inbox.

A Facebook spokesman said this paid message feature is part of a small test, rolled out to a small percentage of users in the U.S. who will receive one of these messages per week at most. "Brands can't use this feature, not at the moment," he said.

If this feature becomes a staple, it could be another form of revenue for the now public company looking to make money. The collective changes would also foster more communication within Facebook and opening up the lines of communication is how Facebook plans to gain more users.

Official Identifies 2nd Woman in Petraeus Affair

(ABC OTUS News)-A senior U.S. military official says the author who had an affair with David Petraeus sent harassing emails to a woman who was a "social liaison" to military bases in Tampa, Fla.

 

The official says 37-year-old Jill Kelley in Tampa, Fla., received the emails from Petraeus biographer Paula Broadwell that triggered an FBI investigation.

 

The official was not authorized to discuss the case publicly and spoke on the condition of anonymity.
Another person who knows Kelley and Petraeus confirmed their friendship.

 

Petraeus quit as CIA director last week after acknowledging an extramarital relationship with a woman — later identified as Broadwell.

 

The FBI probe began several months ago with a complaint against Broadwell. That investigation led to Broadwell's email account, which uncovered the relationship with Petraeus.

Dirt, dirty secrets, the Bible belt, and politics all run deep in this city. 

Many folks that reside here are well aware of what goes down day to day, but the many stay quiet and only chat when the sun goes down.

One dirty person that has lived in this town and that has been married to his wife nagging wife Shirley for many years is Lt *Urch.  His activities alone are that of a nasty, secretive and dirty nature.  His desire for black women is insatiable and addicting.  His affairs go way back with many black women.  He just can’t seem to get enough.  From the sex, to the stalking, Lt Urch is one of this international city’s residents that seem to take it to a whole new level of liking a certain kind of woman.  

For Lt Urch’s nagging wife Shirley, well, she’s just an old country bumpkin that takes arguing to a whole new level.  She loves to degrade Lt Urch about the way he looks, and how she’s the only that wants him because he looks old, smells funny, and that he doesn't deal with money properly.  I guess she could be right on something; he does spend money on his black women a lot.  You would think he would adhere to his pitbull wife Shirley with her degrading demands she makes on him.  However this cop in this city has done and will continue to do what he wants when he wants no matter what nagging Shirley says or threatens.  In July she threatened to divorce his ass, because she found out he was having an affair with some cute young thang.  Of course he denied it, as most men do who have been married for quite some time. 

The truth is he had a full fledge affair!

He was losing his white mind over his lover until Shirley caught wind of his activities.  After the nagger found out, then he wanted to lay low and not see his lover anymore. 

What a disgusting shame!

This coward can’t even own up to his antics.  Nagging Shirley truly has his balls clenched between her two teeth.

 The next dirty citizen in this town is the chairman-elect to the local chamber of commerce. 

This idiot can’t even get it up in the bedroom, but then wants to walk around like he’s the top dog of everything. 

He comes by way of the good ole masons.  Whose rituals are said to be very secret.  The secret the rituals the more idiots they breed.

Mr. Chairman-elect of the local chamber of commerce does many things.  He kisses the local mayor’s ass.  He and his ex-wife had a bitter divorce.  Not only that but he and his son don’t really get along to great. 

While he and his son don’t get along to great, there’s something else more sinister about this character.  It’s his antics toward women.  He thinks women should shut up and color as they say.  He also thinks he can rub his nasty balls in their faces and expect them to kiss it (for lack of better words).

This guy may be a professional on the outside but he has a lot of issues. 

One of them is that, he doesn’t believe in black history month.  He says that he doesn’t need a month dedicated to him to celebrate his blackness.  His other issue is yapping about what goes on behind closed doors at meetings with the local mayor and the city council. 

The truth is, he flaunts his big nastiness like he’s the prettiest thing in Warner Robins.  That includes flaunting his Masonic ties. 

I have to say, when they did his induction at the altar they really should of tighten that noose around his neck and poured the blood on him and left his ass there hanging.

The crazy thing is that Mr Chairman-elect get's inducted as the Chairman of the local chamber of commerce in November.

This city has so much going on.  Its goings and comings of dirty antics, politics, marital affairs, and bible thumping brings character to this small setting.  It has everything made for TV and then some.

THE INTERNATION CITY WARNER ROBINS GA: Arabs Are Being Watched!

Most people know that since Sep 11 this country has increased it's security ten times over.  It's no secret that in most small communities there's a small society of arabs living, breathing and contributing like the rest of us. Most of them stick together and pretty much fly under the radar.

That's the case in the small quaint town of Warner Robins GA. 

There's a sub communnity of arabs who are Dr's, business owners, engineers, and stay at home mothers who reside in this town.  They pretty much fly under the radar and have no real personal ties to anyone accept their own kind.

Hower, in a community like Warner Robins GA "aka" the international city, you're always being watched, especially the arabs.

Warner Robins GA is a southern city that's centered around "Robins AFB."

Most of the folks who live in Warner Robins are military or civilians who work or are retired from Robins AFB.  The base is the central point of this town.  It keeps this town thriving and at the forefront.  So, it's only natural that the gov't and the city will do anything to protect it.  That includes watching the sub community of arabs living around Robins AFB.

From what we know, this city has kept an eye on the arabs for years.  The local police along with the county law enforcement periodically check up on these individuals to be sure there's no real threat to the community or to any of the surronding areas.

According to the reserve Lt cop that works for the county and the chairman-elect of the chamber of commerce, the arabs living in Warner Robins GA are always being watched, because of the military base that's centered in the community.

Most of the time it's through surveillance such as checking up on their businesses via stopping in, and by way of cameras, by way of Robins AFB. 

According the reserve Lt officer who works for Houston county, this place centered on Robins AFB is oufitted with lots of monitors to watch not only the base, but hot spots around the city as well as other areas around the country and around the world.

The arab community in Warner Robins GA have no idea how much they are being watched by this community.  They also have no idea how much people in the community don't want them there at all.

Warner Robins GA is a very diverse community, filled with people from all sorts of backgrounds. They live and thrive in this community daily.  On the other hand you have people who have grown up in the community and those folks are set in their ways and don't really care to socialize with other cultures, especially with the arab sub community.

As we move on, from this town and on to the next, Warner Robins will always be a town that's talked about due to Robins AFB being at the forefront.  It will always be a town that will watch the arab community more than the white, black, and asian communities. It will always be a southern community like no other that's filled with dark racism, low blow political bedroom antics, surveillance of the arab sub community and the home of Robins AFB.

INTERNATIONAL CITY WARNER ROBINS: A Hot Ass Mess!

There once was city who had a perfect shell. Everyone thought this quaint little place had it all without knowing what was really lurking inside.

This little place has all the bells and whistles that most people want and then some. 

Everything from the privacy, to bedroom pockets, deep pockets, mason ties, great schools, an Airforce base, being able to raise your family and a stick together mentality.

With all of that, comes a price like no other.  A price of backstabbing, greed, marital affairs, hookers, sex and football.

Sit back and enjoy a story about Warner Robins GA; "the international city."


Warner Robins Geogia is the home of Robins Airforce base. 

Most of the residents that inhabit this small town  are transplants from other areas of the state and the country.  Alot of them were military that retired, and started working in the civilian sector.

Besides that, this city is brushed with close knit friends, interesting churches, and the love of football.  This town is married to football. 

The boys are bread to be football stars no matter what.  When they can't play football then they send them up the road to the ATL to Georgia Tech or some community college.  Where ever they go, most of the families want their kids to do well.

However, underneath of the all the do-gooders and the close knit friendships, there's always drama and nasty behavior lurking, especially with marriages, and political relationships.

Most relationships in the "international city" are solid or so they say.

There's one relationship that isn't so solid.  It's the relationship of a reserve cop and his nagging wife Shirley.  They are an older couple who has two kids. They also own rental property that they seem to bicker and fight over constantly.  He recently retired from Robins Airforce Base while she does nothing but shop, bicker and complain.  Both of the couple's kids are grown and seem to have done well for themselves.  However, the relationship between the cop and his nagging wife isn't what it's cracked up to be. 

The cop has had multiple affairs with black women that his nagging wife Shirley doesn't know about.  He seems to have a thing for black women and he doesn't mind going in full swing.  He's an older man with a wrinkled face and from what some say has a small wrinkled "you know what."  Maybe that's the reason his nagging wife nags so much. 

This couple has more issues than a little bit.  Most say they walk around like nothing is wrong, but with the recent affair he had, his nagging wife may just break it off with him yet.  If not then it's safe to say they both deserve one another. 

Both are two peas in pod.  The nagger and the "can't keep it in his pants" idiot!

As this intenational city has lots of secrets, life in this bedroom community is business as usual. 

This town, courtesy of the rumor mill, is said to have certain Pastors of certain churches sleeping with young boys and heavily involved in the swinging lifesyle.  Most of them are highly respected and very married.

According to what people say, these men are overweight with big guts who have been married for years to the same women.  The women they say don't know anything about their husbands love for the same sex, but they are involved in the swinging lifestyle, especially if they golf at the landings golf course.

As this story goes on there are so many hot messes in this international city.  Many of them are more of a hot mess than others.

There is a resident of the community that's more of a hot mess than others.  It's the incoming chairman elect for the warner robins chamber of commerce.

He's a retired a Lt Col from the Airforce who is divorced with two grown sons.

His life is one that's very interesting in this city.  He was married for a good length of time.  His divorce was very ugly. He filed divorce papers because his wife was cheating on him when she would go out of town on business.

In the midst of divorcing she cleaned out the house plus cleaned out most of their accounts taking over $200,000.

He now lives alone in a nice house on one of the cities premier golf courses.  He works and makes a great living.  He owns three vehicals that include a dark blue mercedes, hummer, and a old beat up suburban, which he drives because he doesn't want people up in his business.

The big thing with this guy is his attitude!

IT SUCKS!

He has nasty habits that stink and are very displeasing. 

For example, he's a pack rat.  He keeps his beat up suburban nasty like a hoarder keeps his house. 

When it comes women.  The incoming chairman loves sex! According to the rumor-mill, he's on blood pressure meds so he can't get a hard on.  Not only that, but his gut is so big, he can barely see his "you know what."  The kicker is, the incoming chair-elect walks around in such a selfish way, that he finds him self alone most of the time.   Most women say he's truly disgusting and want nothing to do with him sexually.  His personality is bland and he is definitely a cave man.

Another side to this incoming chairman, seems to be nastier.  That side is how he feels toward his own people (black people).  He says that most blacks are lazy, don't want to work, and have a ghetto mentality.
He has also stated, that most of them in the international city, aren't on his level because most are uneducated.

For example, he said that his friend who is an attorney, had a client who was in a really bad wreck.  The lady walked into his friends office seeking help.  His lawyer friend took one good look at her in disbelief and asked the lady all types of personal questions like; "why didn't she graduate from high school, and "why did she have so many children?" 

That in itself was shocking! 

The incoming chairman of this international city and his lawyer friend seem to forget, that when you look down on other's who may not be as fortunate or educated as you are, it spells selfishness, insensitivity, and lack of compassion for people.

You would think him being a mason, would yield some kind of intelligence, but I guess even the masons couldn't help this incoming chairman.

Another character in this bedroom community is the Sheriff. 

This guy is believe to have a alot of secrets in his closet. 

His status as Sheriff of this international city has been long standing and he wants it to remain that way. 

From what some say, he's a bully and will get his way no matter what.

For example, the long standing Sheriff had a lottery addiction.  He apparently use to get lotter sctatch offs from a certain store.  Apparently he won a large sum of money from those scratch offs but that's been on the hush hush until now.

He's a big guy in this bedroom community, an as long as small town folk don't say anything, he will continue to bully his way through them and through the city.

Lastly; in this quaint city we have a mayor that most people adore yet hate.

According to the cop who is married to nagging Shirley, he says the mayor needs to grow a backbone, and that many people seem to run over him.  He also says the mayor should grow a pair and get a handle on his city council, because they are running the city into the ground.

Sad very sad, how some of the citizens of this international city, see one another.  They smile in each other's faces and are backstabbing each other the next day.

All in all, this city isn't perfect and has it's flaws, but one things for sure, underneath of the shell of perfection, there's all sorts of drama filled marriages, a hot bed of political hot mess and crazy characters that will defintely keep you talking for years to come.

FACT CHECK: A one-sided story on trade, defense

 (AP) — Mitt Romney solely blamed President Barack Obama on Monday for potential defense cuts that Republicans in Congress worked out with the White House and Democrats and left the misimpression that Obama has ignored free trade initiatives.

A closer look at some of the Republican presidential nominee's statements in his foreign policy speech:

ROMNEY: "I will roll back President Obama's deep and arbitrary cuts to our national defense that would devastate our military."

THE FACTS: "Arbitrary" defense cuts do not belong to Obama alone but also to congressional Republicans, including his vice presidential running mate, Rep. Paul Ryan. The first round of cuts in projected defense spending is the result of a bipartisan deal in August 2011 between Congress and the White House to wrestle down the deficit. Unless a new budget deal is reached in time, additional spending cuts will begin in January across government, and the cost to the Pentagon would be $500 billion over a decade. Lawmakers are working to avoid that. Separately, Obama wants to slow the growth of military spending, now that the war in Iraq is ended and the war in Afghanistan is drawing to a close. The Pentagon's budget, including war costs, is $670 billion this year, or about 18 percent of total federal spending. Even setting aside the costs of the wars, military spending has more than doubled since 2001.

At its heart, Romney's statement marks a disagreement with Obama over the proper level of military spending but also skips past a deficit-reduction deal that he recently criticized Republicans in Congress for negotiating.

ROMNEY: "The president has not signed one new free trade agreement in the past four years. "

THE FACTS: Obama hasn't opened new trade negotiations, but he's completed some big ones, overcoming opposition from fellow Democrats to do so. After taking office, he revived a free-trade deal with Colombia that had been negotiated by his Republican predecessor but left to languish without congressional approval and sought similar progress with South Korean and Panamanian free-trade pacts. The president delayed submitting the three deals to Congress while he tried to placate Democrats who opposed some of the terms, but finally submitted them in 2011, and Congress approved them.

ROMNEY: "I will recommit America to the goal of a democratic, prosperous Palestinian state living side by side in peace and security with the Jewish state of Israel. On this vital issue, the president has failed, and what should be a negotiation process has devolved into a series of heated disputes at the United Nations. In this old conflict, as in every challenge we face in the Middle East, only a new president will bring the chance to begin anew."

THE FACTS: With this statement, Romney has moved toward the balance enshrined in U.S. policy from one administration to another on the question of Israelis and Palestinians and away from his provocative remarks to a May fundraiser that recently came to light.

In those remarks, he said "the Palestinians have no interest whatsoever in establishing peace," ''the pathway to peace is almost unthinkable to accomplish," Palestinians are "committed to the destruction and elimination of Israel" and it would be "the worst idea in the world" to put pressure on the Israelis to give up something in hopes Palestinians would respond accordingly.

Now he is appearing to put faith in a negotiation process he all but dismissed before.

ROMNEY: "As the dust settles, as the murdered (in the Libya consulate attack) are buried, Americans are asking how this happened, how the threats we face have grown so much worse, and what this calls on America to do."

THE FACTS: It's unclear whether terrorism has gotten worse. There has been no incident even remotely comparable in scope or symbolic meaning to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. After a score of counterterrorist successes, the Obama administration has been knocked back on its heels since the attacks' 11th anniversary, when assailants stormed the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, and killed a U.S. ambassador and three other Americans. There has also been an uptick in attacks on American troops by supposedly friendly Afghan forces. But many counterterrorist experts say al-Qaida has been significantly weakened and the threats of global terrorism significantly better countered over the last decade.

ROMNEY: "When we look at the Middle East today — with Iran closer than ever to nuclear weapons capability, with the conflict in Syria threating to destabilize the region, with violent extremists on the march and with an American ambassador and three others dead likely at the hands of al-Qaida affiliates — it is clear that the risk of conflict in the region is higher now than when the president took office."

THE FACTS: Risk is always a matter of perception, so it doesn't fall easily into the realm of truth vs. fiction.
But for the United States and the region, it's not clear that conflict has increased in the last four years.

Obama entered office in 2009 with the United States still engaged in a conflict in Iraq. U.S. troops are no longer there. And he came as Israel and Hamas just finished a three-week war. That was two years after another war between Israel and an Iranian-backed force, in that case, Hezbollah in Lebanon.

There has been no significant Israeli military conflict since Obama has come into office. That said, Syria's conflict has become the region's deadliest since the Iraq war. The U.S. has stayed out of that conflict under Obama.

We all know guys like Romney.  Most of them are "shysters" and takers.  They take, take and take and never offer any solutions to help anyone.  It's all about them and then some.

British media hammer Romney on Olympic comments

(The Ticket)-LONDON—On day three of his overseas tour, Mitt Romney woke up to unfriendly headlines from the British media, who continue to trash him for telling NBC News that he found preparations for the Olympics here "disconcerting."

"Mitt the Twit," declared The Sun tabloid, condemning Romney as a "wannabe president."

The Independent headlined their take on Romney's trip, "Romneyshambles"—accusing him of not only committing a diplomatic gaffe but later "the cardinal sin of U.S. politics, flip-flopping" on his criticism.

The Daily Telegraph suggested Romney's "Olympic gaffe" had overshadowed his trip to London.
Meanwhile, the conservative Daily Mail slammed Romney as "devoid of charm, offensive and a wazzock."

Romney's comments led newscasts on both Sky News and the BBC on Thursday night and early Friday morning, just hours ahead of the Olympic opening ceremonies here.

"Is this guy really prepared to be president?" one Sky News reporter asked in his Thursday night report about Romney's day in London. The reporter trashed the GOP candidate's comments as "just daft."

Romney has repeatedly tried to dial back his criticism, first in a news conference Thursday outside 10 Downing Street, where he had met with British Prime Minister David Cameron, who had been publicly critical of Romney's remarks earlier in the day.

In an interview with CNN's Piers Morgan Thursday night, Romney again tried to contain the controversy, telling the CNN host he believes the London games will be successful.

"It's great. It's absolutely fabulous," Romney said of being in London for the games. "You know I'd never been to an Olympics before I was given the Olympic job. I mean I've done the same thing everybody else did. I watched the games on TV. But to actually be here and to experience not just the athletes but also the volunteers who are working hard and excited, and then the whole community comes together…
It's fabulous."

Citing the "enthusiasm" of the people in London, Romney added, "I think you are going to see terrific games that will be long time in our memories."

Finally; media outlets are finally "going in" on what we've been saying for some time about Mitt Romney.  He is a twit and then some!

We here at Diva's Nation have certainly voiced our opinion about "Mitt the twit" numerous times! We stated how out of touch he is with Americans. Plus we've stated how he acts and how fidgety he seems to be when around certain groups of people.  It's obvious he's not ready for the job of President due to his "all over the place" behavior and comments.

Think about it fellow Americans; "To go and visit our cousins across the pond and say something as ridiculous as what he said, is a epic hot mess!" 

If he was President he would embarrass our country every chance he got, because he simply don't know how to act.  He's not only off in his actions, but he's definitely off in his mind.

(Macon Telegraph-Perry)-A bond hearing for a Kathleen teen accused of killing her sister was postponed Thursday morning at the request of the defense.

Houston County Public Defender Nick White said the postponement was sought because he was unable to find a suitable place for Carmen Collins, 17, to stay if she’s granted bond. She is accused of shooting her 12-year-old sister, India Collins, multiple times July 3 in their home before setting a fire inside.

She was arrested July 5 after fleeing in a family vehicle with the family dog to Columbus, where she was known to have friends.Collins is charged with murder and arson. She is being held without bond at the Houston County jail.White said he is attempting to find a place for Collins to stay that is not with a family member, is located outside the county and would meet the court’s approval.

He said he had to withdraw the request for bond after he was unsuccessful.

White said he will request a new bond hearing once he has found a suitable location for Collins.Parents John and Angela Collins were in the courtroom for the hearing along with other family members.

A victim’s advocate said the family did not wish to comment.

 17 year old Carmen Collins who is a homosexual killed her sister by shooting her at close range in the head four times. 

Most recently Collins changed her story saying she didn't kill her sister and her attorney thinks she will be exonerated!

As the story goes she was apparently jealous of 12 year old India Collins.  Apparently the parents took a liking to India a more than Carmen.  Carmen has struggled with her homosexuality for quite some time and according to sources her parents wasn't happy about having a gay daugher.

Nonetheless, it's still no reason to kill your sibling due to parents having favorites.*
